The BGZ Berliner Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit mbH is taking strict care of the protection of your personal data, keeps it confidential and in accordance with the statutory provisions. Personal information is therefore any information that may be used to identify your person or trace a user. For example, your name, e-mail address, or phone number.

The information provided is stored for the purpose of the request. No data is transferred to third parties. Nor is any of this information matched to any information that may be collected by other components of our website. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the above mentioned purpose. You have the right to revoke the use of your data at any time.

In order to be able to show videos, we have included YouTube videos in an “Enhanced Privacy Mode” on some of our website pages. These videos are stored on http://www.YouTube.com and can directly be watched on our website. The Enhanced Privacy Mode feature, according to YouTube, means that the data specified below will only be transmitted to the YouTube server when you actually start a video. The lawfulness of the data processing results from Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the quality improvement of the website.
In order to be able to display the respective video on your Internet browser, it is necessary to establish a connection to YouTube. As a result, YouTube will at least collect and process your IP address, the date and time as well as the website you are visiting. Also, during the connection to YouTube, another connection will be made to Google’s DoubleClick ad network. If you are logged in to YouTube during this time, YouTube will assign the obtained connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, we suggest you log out of YouTube before watching a video on our website, or adopt the appropriate settings in your YouTube account.
YouTube permanently stores cookies through your Internet browser on your device to improve functionality and analyze usage patterns. If you do not agree with this processing, you have the option to prevent the storage of cookies through the settings in your Internet browser.
