Sustainable Economy

Sustainable Economy

A strong economy is essential for securing prosperity and jobs. At the same time, we need the right framework conditions to ensure that economic activities do not come at the expense of society or the environment. We believe that ecology, social responsibility, and economic success are not contradictions, but instead they must go hand in hand. Sustainable business practices inherently include ecological and social responsibility. Transitioning towards a resource-efficient economy is a major challenge, but many companies are already proving that it is possible. Social aspects such as participation, inclusion, and diversity are also integral to sustainable business.

Together with our project partners, we develop learning units and training models to embed sustainability more firmly in various vocational education programs, equipping apprentices for a sustainable professional future. Through our projects, we support the transition to a climate-friendly, resource-efficient, and socially responsible economy, strengthening the future viability of Berlin-based businesses.
